Services Performed
As part of the ongoing effort to upgrade facilities the University of Georgia chose these lecture halls to undergo a complete renovation to bring them in line with the campus vision.
We were responsible for design review, budget control, subcontractor bidding and solicitation, creating the project master schedule for an occupied building on an active campus, and developed the project safety control plan.
During the construction phase, we handled the demolition of the existing walls, ceiling, chairs, audio visual systems, electrical, and all existing HVAC replacing that with all new finishes, electrical, HVAC, A/V, and chairs. We were also responsible for all subcontract management, document control, cost management, schedule management, safety management, quality assurance, change order and RFI management, progress reporting and project closeout.
Performance
This project was completed on-budget and on-time to the owner’s satisfaction. The students returned to school this fall and were treated to three beautifully renovated spaces.
